Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I hope this update finds you well.
It has been a very busy couple of weeks in Olympia. We spent the past several days working well into the night and early morning to debate and vote on bills before we hit house of origin cutoff this past Wednesday.
What you need to know: There were good and bad bills to come out of the House.
What’s next? We have already begun committee work on bills that passed out of the Senate and moved over to the House. These last six weeks of session are going to go by quickly and there are a lot of big policies that still must be debated and voted on.
REMINDER LET’S CONNECT: It is important that my 39th District seatmates, Sen. Keith Wagoner R-Sedro-Woolley, and Rep. Carolyn Eslick, R-Sultan, and I can update you on what we have been working on, bills that passed, and bills that failed, and we want to hear from all you.
I hope you can find time to join us at one of our two in-person community town halls tomorrow – Saturday, March 11 in Lake Stevens and Sedro-Woolley. Details below.
